If for some reason you are unable to attend your physiotherapy appointment, please contact us by phone or email no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Due to the difficulty of filling an appointment, it is our policy to withhold the right to charge the full amount for any cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your appointment and if you fail to attend an appointment. Please note there are no exceptions to our cancellation policy.
Cayley Physiotherapy will ask you for payment at each physiotherapy appointment. We accept cash, debit or credit cards. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or cheques.
Cayley Physiotherapy is recognised by a variety of private health insurance companies and therefore if you have health insurance registered with Bupa, AXA PPP, WPA, Vitality, Cigna, Simply Health and Aviva, then your physiotherapy treatment can be covered.
Cayley Physiotherapy will require your authorisation/policy number, which you can obtain via your insurance company. This will allow us to invoice your insurance company directly. We will need to obtain your authorisation/policy number before your first physiotherapy session begins and we advise you to have the number ready when you make your first appointment. We will not be able to commence your physiotherapy sessions without it.
Please be aware that unless you have authorisation from your health insurance provider, we will expect you to pay the full cost of your treatment at the time. Depending on your policy, you may have an excess to pay and we may have to ask you for that excess to be paid to us. Also in the event that your insurance does not cover some or all of the sessions, you will be liable to pay the balance. We advise that you read your policy and receive authorisation from your insurance company before we start your physiotherapy treatment.
Some insurance companies require that you pay for your physiotherapy at each treatment session and then they will then reimburse you directly. Cayley Physiotherapy will provide you with an invoice for your payment in this instance.
