Jenny Cayley, experienced Chartered Physiotherapist

Jenny Cayley BSc (Hons), MCSP, MHCPC, MAACP

Jenny qualified from Brunel University, London in 2008, with a BSc (Honours) degree in Physiotherapy.  Since then she has been working as a full time Physiotherapist in the NHS at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey, which was given the first top mark ‘outstanding’ rating in England by the Care Quality Commission.  She is a specialist Physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients and has mentored and trained junior and undergraduate Physiotherapists.  During her time at Frimley Park Hospital, she has developed strong working relations with the orthopaedic consultants and GPs over Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, as well as military personnel.

Jenny is a firm believer in a personalised ‘hands on’ treatment approach, as well as using acupuncture and ultrasound to enhance recovery and help patients return to the best possible quality of life.  She is extremely caring and thoughtful, always wanting to ‘go the extra mile’ to assist her patients during their recovery.  By reguarly attending physiotherapy courses, Jenny can provide new effective treatment techniques.

Jenny has vast experience with spinal, upper limb and lower limb conditions, including sporting injuries, orthopaedics and hydrotherapy.  She has a particular interest in pre and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation.  As the Physiotherapist for the Academy Netball Club in Surrey, Jenny has a deeper insight of acute physiotherapy, first aid management and specialised rehabilitation for patients with sporting injuries.

Sport and exercise has always been one of Jenny’s great passions, in particular netball, where she played for Berkshire County and the Southern Region Netball league.  She has enjoyed ballet, tap, modern, jazz and contemporary dance from childhood and now loves ballroom and Latin dancing classes. These interests allow Jenny to recognise the specific rehabilitation required for sport and dance injuries.

Jenny is state registered and a member of the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
